Catherine has a background in theater and acted in several musicals early in her career. Now she’s part of a semi-professional choir to satisfy her need to sing. She also has distant French-Canadian roots, her paternal ancestors having arrived in Montreal in 1658! Her lifelong passion: museums and art galleries. For many years, she was even an art therapy guide at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. She believes that culture has a democratic effect, and loves sharing and learning about different points of view. She is very proud of her city, whose foundations are kindness towards others and the involvement of women as well as men in its development. When it’s time to relax, you’ll find her walking on Mount Royal, which she’s climbed hundreds of times!
