Darren has been a licensed Montréal tour guide for 10 years, leading tours on foot, by bike and by bus. Before that, he racked up a varied career as a salesman, teacher, bartender, website rejuvenator and tropical hostel manager, with studies in politics, journalism and graphic design. In retrospect, he’d have guided from day one and only kept his other full-time job as dad to his 2 beautiful kids. His pleasures include books and podcasts on history, current events and urban development, along with jazz, port, cheeses, trips somewhere new and the spa.
