Jeff’s Montréal roots run deep. His mom’s French Canadian ancestors go way back to the Filles du Roi, while his dad’s are Portuguese island folk who immigrated in the 1950s. Jeff is a full-time history teacher in high school and college, and guides mostly to meet cool and interesting people. You might see him speeding around the city on his bike during the summer months, or playing “shinny” hockey in local parks during the winter. He lives in the family six-plex in Little Portugal (one of those funky Montréal buildings with exterior stairs), two floors above the love of his life — his 92-year old grandmother. Don’t worry, his wife understands.
